This winter we welcome our second Japanese homestay student. Mio Koyama was a wonderful addition to our family. I think in her three short weeks with us she was able to see and do a lot! We took her the Grand Avenue area of St. Paul, to the St. Paul Cathedral, downtown Minneapolis, shopping at malls, to the amusement park at the Mall of America, to an indoor waterpark and to many family events. She was a joy to have with us. She took time to play with the kids, taught them how to make origami swans, painted beautiful Kanji pictures and taught us some of the Japanese language. We will miss her and hope to see her again someday!!
